Nearly any piece you find on our website or that you have viewed on social media is available in print form! Simply choose the format and finish you would like from the list below and email your request to: carolineinthestudio@gmail.com. Please let us know whether you will need the print shipped or would like to pick it up in Toronto. Shipping is based on location, so please provide a postal/zip code with your request. Payment can be made through e-transfer or Paypal (a 3% processing fee applies for Paypal).

COMMISSIONS

We accept commission requests for portraits and one of a kind pieces. Do you see a painting you like? Contact me for a commission for something similar!

FURMYNS

The Royal Furmyn Pet Portrait commissions began in 2016 and have been one of our most popular choices for commissions. They are inspired by historical paintings and imagined anthropomorphic models. It is as delightful for me to immortalize your subject, as it is for the recipient who receives the finished piece. The piece below is my very own, ‘Mushy Peas’ painted as Bacchus. Royal Furmyn Pet Portraits are generally only offered around the holiday season come October/November. I usually create a promotion around October with a reduced rate to make these sought after paintings accessible as the perfect unique gift. If you’re wanting one at any other time of the year, please reach out and based on how my schedule is, I may be able to fit one in for you. There is a cap on how many commissions I can take on. 

The best time to place your order is the beginning of October (and you will likely see my specials pop up around this time if you are signed up for my newsletter or follow my Instagram or Facebook page ). Paintings take time and there just aren't enough hours in the day. I am a one-person show running two businesses!

Here is a list of sizes and general pricing for OFF-SEASON Furmyn paintings. These prices include the cost of materials and production.

*Please note: if you want something with A LOT of little details (added symbolism props and such, the price will increase). Depending on the photo you send me, I will decide whether a square or rectangular shape will work best for the composition. Please add $250 to any additional animal you would like added in the same frame, noting that I would need to use one of the larger sized formats (18 x 18 and up).

DETAILS ARE EVERYTHING….

Are you interested in moving forward? Great! Please send me several of your favourite HIGH-RESOLUTION photographs and a character description of your soon-to-be immortalized royal furmyn(s) of choice to the email below. **Please note that compositions work much better when limbs of animals aren’t cut off in the frame of photographs and the image itself has good light and colour contrast, with very minimal blurring. I highly recommend getting help from a photographer friend/family member. The more detail I have to work with, the better I can capture the unique qualities of the subject.
