Purchasing 

Commissions require a non-refundable down-payment of 50% with final payment being due upon completion. An Instalment payment plan for paintings over $150 is available upon request.

When you purchase an original piece, you are agreeing that Caroline Nevin retains full copyright of the image produced, including rights to reproduction.

Shipping

The item purchased will be packaged securely and shipped via Canada Post with tracking and insurance included within 1-3 business days (or 3-5 business days for prints which are created by demand). We generally use Expedited shipping. If you prefer another choice, please let us know ahead of purchase so we can provide you with a quote.

We include an invoice with each package which corresponds with the customs form stating the full purchase price of each order. Please be aware that your country may charge additional customs duty and/or import taxes and that we are not responsible for costs incurred.

Please be aware that as the seller we do not pay for any applicable duty, value added taxes (VAT) or import consumption taxes charged to you by your country. The recipient of the merchandise will be required to pay the duty or VAT upon delivery. Due to import duty valuation adjustments and currency valuations, we are unable to provide an estimate for duty or VAT.

*Also note that international shipping can take anywhere from 7 to 36 days depending on your country's postal system.

*For those paying in instalments, please note your purchase will only be shipped after the final payment is received. 

Return Policy

Returns are only accepted on original pieces within 5 days of you receiving the package (noted by tracking and return package stamped date) minus a 10% restocking fee that is non-negotiable. You will also be responsible for secure packaging and return shipping with insurance and tracking included. Refund will be issued once package is received and inspected for damage. No refund will be issued if damage is deemed to be the fault of the purchaser (eg: cutting through the package with a sharp object by accident, bending a print, or otherwise).

We are sorry but, commissions and print on demand orders are 100% non-refundable*. 

*Any responsibility for damage to an item in the shipping process, is with the carrier and not the responsibility of Caroline Nevin. A claim will be submitted in a timely manner by Caroline Nevin but the complete processing time will depend on Canada Post’s policies. Be assured I will work as as quickly as possible on my end to resolve the issue.

International Shipping Policy

International shipping outside of the US and Canada is available but is quite pricey with tracking + insurance, but it is the only way we will ship internationally to protect the buyer and shipper equally.

FAQ 

Can I purchase any previous work in your collections in print form that aren’t in your shop? 

We can print just about any image you desire by 'print on demand' special order. We usually have a 2-3 day turnaround on paper prints. You can choose from both exceptionally made archival quality paper or stretched canvas (ready to hang!). Please contact us for prices not listed. *Please note, only Limited Edition Prints will be signed.
